About

Well, since my friend Billy Bartles, the editor of Motorcycle Cruiser, raised the bar and called me a “Travel Blogger,” I suppose I should clarify a few things. This blog began as a chronicle of my epic 2007 mid-life-crisis trip of 35 days through the Rockies wherein I had an epiphany: I’m not getting any younger and no one promised me a tomorrow, so I might as well quit listening to the infamous “they” and get on with enjoying my life and doing the things I want to do. The motorcycle part of that can be found here.

A note on dates: As this was primary intended as a communication to my family and friends while I was on the road and a history of my adventures and misadventures for my own enjoyment, I decided to start posting information on the day it took place rather than the date I got around to posting it.

So, welcome to my motorcycle travel blog.

Be Great!
